At Kago Studio, we don't do things by halves, especially when it comes to children.
🌿 Made here, designed to last
We chose French and European production. Not to look good on paper (even though we love paper), but because it makes sense. Short supply chains, partners we know, carefully selected materials, so that what arrives in your child's room is as well made as it is beautiful to look at.
Our prints are made on high-quality paper, sourced responsibly, without compromising on appearance or conscience. Because you can do beautiful AND good.
📦 On-demand production: the choice that changes everything
We could have done what everyone else does: print thousands of posters, fill a warehouse, and cross our fingers that they would sell.
We chose differently.
At Kago Studio, every order triggers production. Not before. This model, which we call on-demand production, is our most tangible way of limiting our impact on the planet.
Why? Because the printing industry is one of the most wasteful. Tons of paper produced to anticipate demand that doesn't always come. Stock that ends up as waste. Resources mobilized for nothing. We think that's a shame... for the planet and for all of us.
With on-demand production:
- Zero overstock: we only produce what is ordered
- Zero paper waste: every printed sheet has a recipient
- Reduced carbon footprint: less transport, less storage, less waste
- Controlled quality: each piece is produced with care, one by one
Yes, this sometimes means slightly longer lead times than an e-commerce giant. But we prefer to deliver something well-made rather than something rushed. And we think you do too, don't you?
🎨 Screens can wait
We firmly believe in the power of a beautiful image. One that catches the eye, starts a story, and makes you want to invent what comes next.
Our posters are made for that: to transform a wall into a starting point. A rabbit in overalls becomes an adventurer. A seagull becomes the character in a bedtime story. A hairy green monster? The best imaginary friend who sleeps under the bed (but gently).
In a world where children spend an average of several hours a day in front of a screen, we believe that a beautiful illustration hanging on the wall can make a real difference. No notifications, no ads, no endless scrolling, just an image that speaks, invites, and leaves room for imagination.
