Rooms with as much imagination as the children who stay in them

As far back as she can remember, Margaux always had a pencil in her hand. Drawing, gluing, making, inventing… It was her way of seeing the world. A piece of cardboard, a few snips of scissors, and voila: a castle, a character, an entire universe appearing out of nothing.

And then life moved on. Days became busy, creations became more infrequent. Pencils were put away "for later"... and sometimes, they were forgotten.

It was her nieces who changed everything. For them, Margaux began again to invent stories, to build imaginary worlds, to draw characters and settings that existed only for them. Their widening eyes, their laughter, and those adorable questions about the characters… that's all it took for the little spark to ignite!

What if these universes could inhabit children's rooms? Not just in a book that gets closed, but on the walls, in the corners, in the details that make a room a true personal territory. That's where the idea for Kago Studio was born.

Life took her to Madrid to launch the adventure. A world full of color and warmth. Today, it's from her studio in France that she creates and directs the studio, surrounded by paper, pencils, and that same desire to make things that make little eyes sparkle.

Because children deserve spaces that truly reflect them. Rooms with as much imagination as they have. True universes.
